How this site makes money

The number one rule at this site is:

Treat the reader as I want to be treated!

I will not try to hard-sell you a product or include affiliate links to worthless products. If I include an affiliate link, I will make it very obvious and open. I will not try to persuade you to part with your money.

Who do I want money from, then? Advertisers. Corporations. They are rich. They are already making lots of money and have lots of money to spend. I want their money, not yours. The main monetization of this site will be through ads or CPAs (to be added), which cost you, the reader, nothing.

If you have found this site helpful, however, there are many other ways you can show your appreciation. The main thing you can do is spread the word about this site. Here are a list of things you can do to say thanks:

  1. Email your friends
  2. Post a link to this site in forums
  3. Mention this site in your blog; add it to your blogroll
  4. Social bookmark this site (Digg, Stumble, etc.)
  5. Include a link to this site on user generated pages (Squidoo, Ezinearticles)

If you do these, you can also practice some of the marketing techniques I discuss. For example, while you are learning to make your first Squidoo lens, why not include a link to this site? These actions cost you nothing but a little time. For beginners learning how to use Web 2.0 sites, it’s good practice as well. I’m not asking much.

I would also appreciate any kind words or comments (moral support!). See the contact section to email me.

If you really, really want to give me money, I may add a donation option in the future. Let me know if you think that is a good idea.

I really like that someone out here is trying to do this the honest way. I am a newbie to internet and affiliate marketing and just trying to learn without being scammed. Am looking to see more postings from you. Any other relavant info would be greatly appreciated. Also, I do find your site a bit hard to read/navigate with the text being too large. Just my opinion.

    Thanks!
